Finally, Willard Carroll’s Bollywood-meets-Hollywood movie Marigold – An Adventure in India is set to release soon. The movie pairs Ali Larter with our own pin-up boy Salman Khan. 
However, grapevine has it that Larter was completely ignorant of who Salman Khan was before Carroll approached her for the movie. Carroll just gave her an idea that Salman was a star in India. Without getting carried away, Larter asked for the film’s script to read. As she had to fly to France soon, she took the script along to read it during her flight. Coincidentally, an Indian woman was seated next to Larter in the plane. So, while reading the script Larter casually turned to the woman in the next seat and asked her if she knew who Salman Khan was. To Larter’s surprise, the woman turned out to be a huge fan of Salman Khan. She spoke about his deadly looks and his large fan following in India. Apparently, it was this brief meeting that helped Larter make her mind to do the film. In ‘Marigold’, Larter plays an American actress Marigold Lexton who comes to India and gets stranded after the shooting of her film gets cancelled. Thereafter, she agrees to act in a Bollywood movie in which Salman Khan plays her choreographer, Prem. Sparks fly between Marigold and Prem and love sprouts.
