From their first meeting in a restaurant, before the shoot of the film began, Salman and Ali became friends. She loved his wacky sense of humour and his caring attitude. And she got to see another side of Salman while shooting at Gorai beach.
During the shoot, Ali noticed 3 jet skis on the beach. After the days work was over, she expressed her desire to go jet skiing. But it was well past midnight and the beach was pitch dark.
Salman hit upon an idea. He made the entire crew to line up their cars side by side facing the sea. Then he asked them all to switch on their headlights. Within a wink of an eye, the whole beach was lit up.
Salman and Ali then went jet skiing.
In fact, throughout the making of the film, Salman was very responsive to Ali’s needs and demands. On one occasion, when she missed visiting Taj Mahal, Salman gifted her a replica of the monument.
Now he plans to gift her an embroidered Lehenga that she became very fond of while shooting certain scenes in the film.
