Rumours are abuzz that Vivek Oberoi got into a verbal spat and fist-fight at a suburban hotspot recently.
The man at the receiving end of Vivek’s aggression was an assistant director from the Bhatt camp, reports say.
The incident reportedly took place recently at restaurant China House in the dead of the night. It was well past 2 am when Vivek was waiting for his car. Not far from him was Vishal Mahadkar, an assistant to director Mohit Suri , also waiting to leave.
It is not clear what sparked off the tiff. But reports say the two men cast each other stern glances and Vivek pushed Vishal when the latter walked close to him.
The two men then hurled verbal abuses at each other and were about to come to blows when director Mohit Suri intervened and separated them, reports say.
Both Mohit and Vishal have told a Mumbai tabloid that the incident did happen. However, Vivek is denying that he got into any scuffle.
Apparently, Vivek and Vishal have known each other for a year, but they never got along well. The two have had their differences in the past but things never came to the point of a brawl.
