Rumour mills have of late been saying that all is not well between actress Amrita Arora and her cricketer boyfriend.
It is no secret that Amrita and Usman Afzal are making a long distance relationship work. She keeps busy in Bollywood and he is a county player in England. Despite the physical distance, the two have managed to stick together for a long time now.
However, tinsel town gossip has recently been linking Amrita to another man, model Sahil Shroff, who has apparently known Amrita since his college days and is also a good friend of Arbaaz Khan , Amrita’s jeeju.
Recently, Sahil was spotted with Amrita, Arbaaz and Malaika Arora at a dinner at Olive, thereby firing up the speculation that something was indeed cooking between Amu and Sahil.
But Amrita denies such reports as mere “hogwash” and clarifies that she and Usman are still together.
In fact, Usman recently surprised Amrita by flying down to Mumbai. Later, the two also left for a holiday in Goa.
Usman says he has signed up to play cricket for Surrey county, and he wanted to spend quality time with Amrita before beginning his next season. That is why he came down to Mumbai.
As for Sahil, Amrita says: “Just because I attended one party with Sahil doesn’t mean I’m dating him.”
Well, the gossip mills can rest for the time being.
