Her acting career was in limbo until she caught the attention of Bollywood star Salman Khan.
Mahek Chahal has been part of Bollywood for about three years now, but she hasn’t been able to make a mark yet. She has acted in the forgettable film ‘Nayee Padosan’ and did an item number in Chameli .
But now, Mahek’s career is all set for a turnaround, thanks to Salman Khan who has cast her in one of his home productions.
It is learnt that Mahek caught Salman’s eye when she was on a musical tour with him. The two got along very well and Salman apparently decided that Mahek needed a second chance to revive her career.
Then what, Mahek got the offer to play a role in Salman-starrer Wanted Dead And Alive (remake of Telugu hit Pokkiri ). She also got an important role in Sallu’s home production titled Main Aur Mrs Khanna .
Mahek says Salman is very friendly and helpful. However, the sexy belle insists that her relation with Salman is purely professional.
