While dad Rishi Kapoor is pretty cool about whatever Ranbir does in personal life, mama Neetu Singh has a list of dos and don'ts for the young newcomer. 
Take, for instance, Ranbir's wish to buy a bicycle. He had wanted to have a cycle for a long time and papa Rishi is cool about it. But not Neetu Singh who believes riding cycles or mobikes is pretty dangerous on Mumbai streets. So Neetu Singh has said 'no' to Ranbir. Not just this, Neetu makes sure Ranbir gets a fixed pocket money and does not become an extravagant. According to reports, Ranbir gets Rs. 1,500 from his mom every week. That amounts to just a little over Rs 200 per day. But Ranbir seems to have no complaints because he doesn't have much lavish tastes. Neetu has told a Mumbai tabloid that she wants Ranbir to earn his own money and then spend it. She believes too much money spoils the youth.
