 'Om Shanti Om' rocks UK Box Office

The Shah Rukh Khan – Deepika Padukone starrer Om Shanti Om has entered the UK Box Office charts at number seven.
The other Diwali release Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s Saawariya entered the UK Box Office charts at number twelve.
Farah Khan 's 'Om Shanti Om' has made a massive £518,845 (US $1,068,866 - INR 42,085,306) while the Ranbir Kapoor – Sonam Kapoor starrer ‘Saawariya’ gets a reasonable £160,985 (US $331,632 - INR 13,058,048).
The per screen average for ‘Om Shanti Om’ came to £9977.79, which was the best average of the weekend. ‘Saawariya's per screen average was £3499.63.
Eros Entertainment's ‘Om Shanti Om’ is being shown on 52 screens, six more than the Sony Pictures release ‘Saawariya’, 46.
The political thriller ‘Lions For Lambs’ accumulated £658,282. However, ‘Om Shanti Om’ is expected to make more money in the long run than this flick.
