Madhuri Dixit was nervous to face the camera again

Former numero uno Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit , who is making a comeback into Bollywood after a gap of almost five years, had to deal with a racing heart and nervousness while facing the cameras after the long hiatus.

"I was really nervous when I faced the camera for the first time after such a long gap. My heart was racing and I feared that I will forget the dialogues," Madhuri told reporters in New Delhi on Tuesday.

The star was in the capital to address a press conference to promote her film, the Yashraj Films produced Aaja Nachle , which is scheduled to be released this Friday.

"Everything has changed so much nowadays. Everything is so disciplined, the shooting is so streamlined," said the actress, who had relocated to the US and stopped work in films after her marriage.

So was she apprehensive of making a comeback? "Well, I asked Adi ( Aditya Chopra ) whether people would be ready to see me again and Adi just laughed," Madhuri said.

Madhuri, who was last seen in Devdaas , said she missed her craft very much and that is the reason she has made a comeback.

"I missed my craft. I missed the film sets, acting, dancing and everything related to the films, except the limelight," she said.

When asked why she chose 'Aaja Nachle' to make a comeback, the 'dancing diva' said, "It was the way the role was written and the message that the film tries to convey to the audience that attracted me."
