HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD 'Om Shanti Om' stays in UK top ten 21st Dec 2007  13.01 IST By Agencies   The Shah Rukh Khan – Deepika Padukone starrer Om Shanti Om stayed in the UK top ten for two weeks, and collected a record 19 million dollars in its opening week. At least five other Bollywood films made it to the UK top ten. This impressive feat was achieved despite screening minimum prints and negligible publicity. According to industry sources, Akshay Kumar starrer Welcome has done well in the UAE. "On 29 prints, the Indian Films-Studio18 Eid release is said to have opened to an unprecedented AED 450,000 (USD 1,22,482)," the sources said.
