HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Bollywood stars show their animal instinct 02nd Jan 2008  17.55 IST By Aparajita Ghosh   Imagine Urmila Matondkar playing a leopard and Govinda playing a monkey! Director Nikhil Advani is doing something unprecedented in his 3-D animation film. The children’s movie tells the story of a group of animals who travel from Mumbai to Delhi. Since it is an animation film, the characters will be created by animation experts, but their voices will be lent by Bollywood stars. Akshaye Khanna plays a parrot, Govinda plays a monkey, Urmila plays a leopard, Ayesha Takia plays a leopard’s cub, Sunil Shetty plays her father, and Boman Irani plays a bear. Apart from the voices, Nikhil Advani has asked the animation experts to incorporate the expressions and mannerisms of the stars into their animated characters. So we might see the monkey in the film flashing a toothy smile like Govinda, and we may see the parrot pursing his beak like Akshaye purses his lips.
