Director Anurag Basu is looking for what he calls “a perfect debutante” to be Hrithik Roshan ’s heroine in his upcoming film.
It is no secret that Anurag will be directing a film for Rakesh Roshan’s home production Filmkraft. While Hrithik has been finalized as the hero, Basu wants a new face opposite Hrithik in the film.
According to Basu, an established actress does not fit the requirement of the film’s theme. A new face is needed, and Basu is presently looking for it.
However, the talented director has not ruled out the possibility of roping in a known actress, if, and only if, he is not able to find his “perfect debutante”.
The film, an action-romance, will not go on the floors until Hrithik fully recovers from his knee injury. Expectedly, the shooting should begin in June or July.
Both Hrithik and father Rakesh Roshan have been impressed by Basu’s work in films like Gangster and Metro . It was after watching ‘Metro’ that Roshan senior decided to sign Basu to direct a film for his company.
