Saif Ali Khan and Bipasha Basu became thick friends while working together in Abbas Mastan's movie Race . Those were the days when Saif was still single after his break-up from Rozza Catalano , and his nearness to Bipasha was seen by the media as a romantic fling. 
It was in those days, when their friendship was at its thickest, did the two stars shoot a passionate lovemaking scene for the film. A nocturnal ambience was created on the sets for this sequence. Saif was shirtless and Bipasha was dressed in a low-neck sexy red outfit. Her hair was wet. Director duo Abbas Mastan kept minimal possible crew on sets for this scene to make the actors comfortable. According to a unitmember who was present at the shoot: "Both Saif and Bipasha shot the scene with comfort. The chemistry between them was really hot." 'Race' has Bipasha playing a character with negative shades. She is paired with two actors - Saif and Akshaye Khanna in the film. The movie also stars Katrina Kaif , Anil Kapoor and Sameera Reddy .
