The two friends will team up once again for a film to be made by Sanjay Dutt productions.
Now that Sanjay Dutt ’s legal hassles are over for at least a year, the actor is sinking himself in work. It is common knowledge that Dutt has distanced himself from former good friend Sanjay Gupta’s production company (White Feather Films) and has launched his own production house.
The latest dope is that Dutt has asked director Sujoy Ghosh to direct the first film for the company.
Not just this, talks are abuzz that Dutt is keen to have Salman Khan in a parallel role opposite him in the yet-untitled flick.
Though the film is still in scripting stages, there is a character in the story that Dutt believes can be best enacted by Salman.
And Salman, too, has apparently agreed to act in the flick.
Dutt reportedly formed a special camaraderie with Sujoy Ghosh while working in his in-the-making film Aladdin . And when he asked Ghosh to take on the director’s reins for his home production, the latter gladly accepted the offer.
The film is likely to go on the floors in the second half of this year.
