Clicking photos of models not allowed on 'Fashion' set

Director Madhur Bhandarkar and production house UTV are leaving no stone unturned to guard the privacy of sexy models and actresses on the sets of Fashion .

Bhandarkar aims to unveil the dark and ugly side of the glamourous fashion industry in his next film that stars Priyanka Chopra , Kangana Ranaut , Arbaaz Khan , Harsh Chaya and model Mugdha Godse.

Recently, a fashion show sequence was shot for the film at Mumbai’s Mehboob Studios. Apart from the actresses, more than a dozen real models from the fashion industry took part in the shooting. And there were scores of extras who were also part of the scene.

Since it was an elaborate, glamourous sequence, many female models were required to change their clothes frequently in a makeshift changing room. And some of the outfits they wore were very skimpy.

There was a real danger of some of the unitmembers clicking the pictures of models in their revealing outfits, or making a film on cell phone while models changed clothes.

So, apprehending this problem, the director and the production house banned the use of cell phones for all unitmembers on the sets. Even bouncers were put on the sets to make sure nobody tries to click a photo stealthily.

The tactic worked and the shooting was done without any unsavoury incident.

Presently, Madhur has taken a week’s break from the shooting and has traveled to Chandigarh to scout for possible shooting locations for the film.
