HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Man misbehaves with Tanushree Dutta18th Jan 2008 16.05 IST By ApunKaChoice A man tried to get too close for comfort to Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta . Though the incident happened on the New Year’s day, Tanushree has kept silent for certain reasons. 
It reportedly happened at Garuda Mall in Bangalore where Tanushree had gone for a performance. But when she arrived at the mall, she was stunned to see a huge crowd and no security for her. After being assured by the organizers that nothing untoward will happen, Tanushree began moving towards the stage. On her way, a man reportedly broke off the cordon, approached her, and held her hand forcibly. Before he would get closer, Tanushree reacted instinctively and slapped him. Thereafter, she refused to go on the stage again. She went to the airport and flew back home. Tanushree says she had kept silent about the incident because she was afraid the moral cops would accuse her of dressing provocatively even though she was decently dressed. Secondly, Tanu says she hasn’t been paid by the organizers of the event yet. It may be recalled that on New Year’s Eve actress Koena Mitra was also harassed in a Mumbai hotel by a man who put his arm around her waist and tried to grope her.
