Director Shoojit Sircar is in a fix. He has been shooting his film, tentatively titled ‘Shoebite’, in Shimla with Amitabh Bachchan and Sarika . The movie is a mature love story about two couples in the autumn of their lives. 
However, there are also sequences in the film that show the two protagonists as twenty-year olds. Sircar had first approached Abhishek Bachchan to play the role of younger Big B. But the beta apparently doesn’t want to step in to his dad’s shoes as of now and turned down the offer. So even as Sircar is shooting his film, he is also auditioning a number of young men who might have a facial resemblance to Amitabh and also have a bit of talent. Thankfully, Sircar has already found a girl who suits the role of younger Sarika. The screenplay of ‘Shoebite’ has been written by Renzil D Silva of Rang De Basanti fame. The film is being shot in Shimla. Amitabh Bachchan was there shooting his portions before coming down to Jaipur on Monday for son Abhishek’s birthday.
