He has already displayed his gift of gab at many occasions. Now, Shah Rukh Khan recites poetry for a movie.
At the request of good friend and director Samar Khan, SRK agreed to record a poem for Samar’s upcoming film Shourya which tackles a novel theme about the court-martial of an army man accused of war crimes.
Reportedly, Samar met SRK in Goa and requested him to record the poem titled Shourya Kya Hai that captures the gist of his film. SRK was so excited by the idea that he offered to record the poem there and then on his laptop.
But Samar wanted the recording to be done in a proper studio. SRK did that. The superstar reportedly did not charge anything for recording.
The poem, written by Jaideep Sarkar, will be set to music by Adnan Sami and will be part of the movie’s soundtrack.
‘Shourya’ stars Rahul Bose in the lead role. The film is set to hit the theatres in April.
