The yet untitled film, directed by Siddharth Anand, stars Bipasha Basu , Deepika Padukone and Minissha Lamba . Katrina was supposed to play the fourth leading lady but her role has now been completely axed from the film.
Reason?
The film tells the story of a man’s (Ranbir) evolvement through different relationships with four women. But since the tracks with three women (Bipasha, Minissha and Deepika) got too long after shooting, the director and the production house decided to do away with Katrina’s character altogether.
In fact, it is rumoured that to compensate Katrina, Yashraj Films offered her a new movie with John Abraham in the lead role. It is the same film which Katrina signed recently. It will be directed by Kabir Khan.
Katrina is said to have no ill feelings for being dropped from Anand’s film. And why should she have any. She’s got another flick in her kitty.
