Newcomer Shweta Kumar preferred to endure pain rather than delay the film’s shooting.
Shweta seems to have learned the importance of professionalism from her director father Indra Kumar . While shooting a song titled “Soniye” for the T-Series film Karzzzz in Johannesburg, Shweta collapsed and was later diagnosed with a severe sprain in her leg.
The doctor put a plaster on Shweta’s leg, but the feisty girl reported on the sets the next day, to complete her portions of the song.
Concerned about her leg, Kaushik only shot very simple dance steps and took close-up shots of Shweta, who took painkillers and danced despite her sprained leg.
However, after a day’s shoot Shweta was told to rest for two weeks and Urmila Matondkar was called in to shoot.
Shweta’s portion in the song will now be completed in Cape Town.
Meanwhile, Dino Morea has been added to the cast of ‘Karzzzz’. He plays the role enacted by Raj Kiran in the original film.
