Bollywood actor Shahid Kapur turns 27 on Monday, February 25. He says there is much to look forward to this year.
Life has changed a great deal for Shahid Kapur since he celebrated his last birthday. While he has consolidated his position in Bollywood with a superhit Jab We Met , he also went through emotional turmoil because of the break-up with Kareena Kapoor .
But Shahid, his dimpled smile still intact, says he doesn’t regret anything.
“I have learned something new at every step of the way,” says the somewhat reticent actor.
Shahid doesn’t have any big plans for his birthday. Rather, he will be working, shooting for old pal, director Ken Ghosh’s film in which he plays a singer-dancer.
At night, Shahid says he might go out for a quiet dinner with his family.
What Shahid is most excited about are the roles he has landed recently.
Shahid is already shooting for good friend Ahmed Khan’s production Paathshala in which he plays a music teacher. Shahid has signed a two-film deal with Yashraj Films . And by the end of this year, he will begin working in dad Pankaj Kapur ’s directorial debut.
Well, the birthday boy sure has every reason to be happy.
