Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta have lavish plans to promote their respective IPL cricket teams.
Trust SRK to do what he does in his kingly lavishness. The superstar, who owns the Kolkata franchise of IPL, is working on a music video to catch as many eyeballs as possible for his team before the beginning of the IPL tournament on April 18.
SRK has roped in music director duo Vishal-Shekhar to compose the theme song for his team. Moreover, he has signed Ganesh Hegde to choreograph the music video which is likely to feature some star players of his team. SRK is also expected to make a brief appearance in the video.
On the other hand, Preity Zinta is not far behind. She is learnt to have commissioned music directors Sajid-Wajid to compose a peppy theme track for her Mohali team. The composition reportedly has a Punjabi flavour appropriate for the Mohali team. Daler Mehendi has sung it while Jalees Sherwani has written its lyrics.
The songs will go on air weeks before the start of the IPL tournament.
