Dancing around the trees is passé. Bollywood beauties are now daring to break new barriers.
Two Bollywood actresses have been training in deep water diving for their respective roles.
Lara Dutta has long had a fear of being underwater. But that is exactly what she would be seen doing in an upcoming action flick Blue . Lara will do scuba diving with co-star Akshay Kumar in the film.
The actress explains that she was apprehensive about her role initially, but Akshay’s sporty spirit rubbed off on her and she decided to overcome her fears and take the plunge.
On the other hand, actress Amisha Patel has been learning scuba diving at The Club, Andheri, from a trainer named Arish Adenwalla.
Amisha will go underwater for Kunal Kohli’s yet untitled Yashraj film, starring Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee in lead roles.
During her training, Amisha has been going as deep as 16 feet. She has also been lugging the oxygen tank on her back.
Amisha says it is thrilling to be underwater, but she wouldn’t like to do it regularly.
