For the first time on screen actress Divya Dutta will do a bold scene for a movie.
In director Sushen Bhatnagar’s film ‘Monica’ Divya plays the character of a small-town girl who is exploited by a politician for his physical needs and also to show her off at high-profile parties.
The character is inspired from the real-life girl Shivani Bhatnagar who was alleged to have links with the late politician Pramod Mahajan.
In the film Ashutosh Rana plays the cunning politician who exploits Divya. Rajit Kapoor plays a journalist who is unable to save Divya despite wanting to.
The film will also have a scene in which Divya will shed her clothes and reveal her bare back to the camera.
Divya says she has worked with director Sushen Bhatnagar in the past and knows his sincerity of vision and commitment to a project. That is the reason why she decided to make an exception and do the bold scene for ‘Monica’.
Meanwhile, the actress says she is looking forward to the release of Ajay Devgan’s film U Me Aur Hum in which she has an important role.
