It’s a rare case of the director being more nervous than the actress who was shooting a nude scene.
It happened on the sets of director Manish Gupta’s film Stone Man . Actress Rukhsar , who has acted in films like Sarkar , was to shoot a semi-nude scene.
Normally an actress gets the heebie-jeebies while doing such a scene. But Rukhsar seemed cool as a cucumber while doing it. Rather, it was Manish Gupta who was sweating.
So nervous was the director that he asked the film’s crew to vacate the sets. Only a few technicians remained.
On top of it, Rukhsar was given a backless bra that did not fit her properly. Thankfully, her make-up man did some improvisation and made a makeshift bra from a chunari.
While Rukhsar calmly posed for the camera in this bra, director Manish Gupta says he felt embarrassed asking her to expose her body parts to the camera.
Manish took an entire day to shoot the scene. But Rukhsar understood his nervousness and co-operated.
