Love and affection on the sets of 'Dilli 6'

The entire unit of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s film Dilli 6 has been working together like one big family.

Abhishek Bachchan , Sonam Kapoor , Atul Kulkarni , Divya Dutta , Waheeda Rahman , Rishi Kapoor , Om Puri and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra – they all have been having great time on the sets of ‘Dilli 6’ in Jaipur. The camaraderie between the actors has to be seen to be believed.

Abhishek and Atul have become thick friends and could be seen gorging together on chocolates after their daily meals, though Abhi has lately begun refraining from chocolates because he had put on weight. Now, Atul takes an extra delight in having his daily chocolate fix in front of Abhi.

Abhi also orders local Rajasthani delicacies like kachoris on the sets. And he himself doesn’t eat any. Divya Dutta, Om Puri and crewmembers love having their fill while Abhi looks on longingly, again. But he gets even with everyone through his unexpected pranks.

Divya has also been playing the old songs of Waheeda Rahman to the veteran actress on the sets. She seems to have bonded with Waheedaji and Om Puri very well.

On the other hand, Rishi Kapoor remains cool as a cucumber. He is constantly laughing and joking around with everyone on the sets.

In an interview recently, Divya Dutta said the unit of ‘Dilli 6’ has become a family.

"We're constantly laughing and joking, quite like the people from Chandni Chowk in Delhi, whom we're playing…The 'Dilli 6' unit has become one big family for all of us. It will be really heartbreaking when we've to move on,” Divya Dutta is quoted in an IANS report.

‘Dilli 6’ is Mehra’s semi-autobiographical film about the days he spent in Chandni Chowk as a youth.
