Former Miss Sri Lanka Jacqueline Fernandez often calls her acting teacher for assistance on the sets of her first movie Aladdin .
For the last eight months Jacqueline has been learning the finer points of acting from acting guru Vinod Tharani, who previously taught Deepika Padukone in her first film Om Shanti Om .
In Sujoy Ghosh’s film ‘Aladdin’, Jacqueline is working with talented actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Ritesh Deshmukh . And she has been making sure that her performance before the camera is up to the mark.
According to sources from the movie’s sets, whenever Jacqueline has a tough scene to shoot, she calls her tutor Vinod Tharani on the sets.
Vinod reads the dialogues, gives acting tips to Jacqueline, tells her about the right voice modulation, and even rehearses the whole scene with her.
His presence has apparently been very assuring for Jacqueline, who is hoping to make a mark in Bollywood with her first film. She already knows three different languages (apart from her mother tongue) – Spanish, French and Arabic. And she has been brushing up her Hindi for a career in Bollywood.
