Shahid Kapur is being sought to play the role of a pickpocket in Ravi Chopra’s film Pocketmaar .
The career graph of Shahid Kapur has only been on the rise since the release of Jab We Met that brought to the fore the mature side of Shahid the actor. Since then, directors and producers have expressed their interest in working with Shahid.
One such producer is Ravi Chopra who wants an actor to play a petty pickpocket in his next film starring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead.
The project was conceptualized as long as a year back but Chopra has not yet been able to get the cast in place.
The Big B has already been confirmed to play a middle-class man whose world comes crashing down after his pocket is picked by a thief.
Chopra wants Shahid to play the thief and has already spoken to Shahid. However, since Shahid is going to shoot for many projects back-to-back this year, sparing dates for Chopra’s film may not be easy.
