Bipasha Basu opts out of tour with the Bachchans

It appears that the much-touted ‘The Unforgettables’ musical tour may not live up to its name.

The tour, featuring a series of musical and dance concerts by Bollywood stars in the US and Canada, is being organized by Wizcraft. Earlier Lara Dutta dropped out of the tour because of her knee problem and Bollywood commitments. Now, Bipasha Basu has followed suit and excused herself from the tour.

Reports say Bipasha wanted a good remuneration from the organizers now that she is once again a hot property after the success of Race . And when the organizers could not shell out Bipasha’s quoted price, she walked out, wishing them good luck for the tour.

Another theory doing the rounds is that Bipasha was insecure of sharing the stage with the Bachchans. As we all know ‘The Unforgettables’ will be helmed by Amitabh Bachchan , Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai .

However, Bipasha has told a Mumbai tabloid that she has no issues with the Bachchans. In fact, she says she has immense respect for “Amitji”.

So what was the reason of her exit?

Bipasha is quoted as saying that her remuneration was one of the reasons. The Bengali belle adds that she shares cordial relations with Wizcraft and will work with them again, provided she is paid what she deserves.

Now that is what a few successful Fridays do to people in Bollywood.
