For, the gorgeous damsel is playing a double role in the film. Being directed by Nikhil Advani , the film’s story travels from Delhi’s Chandni Chowk to Bangkok and China before returning to Mumbai. It is the story of a cook from Chandni Chowk who finds a job in Bangkok and then goes to China to learn martial arts before returning to Mumbai to teach it to others. Akshay Kumar plays the male lead. It is still not clear how Deepika’s double role is incorporated in the story. Deepika also played a double role in her very first Bollywood film Om Shanti Om . Her next release would be Bachna Ae Haseenon with boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor . ‘Chandni Chowk To China’, which is currently on the floors, will release later. Meanwhile, rumour has it that Deepika is being considered to play Shah Rukh Khan ’s leading leady in Aditya Chopra ’s next directorial venture Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi .
