Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan headed for a split?

It is just unbelievable! Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora , the couple who has been married for a decade, is now headed for a split, reports say.

Theirs has been the marriage as steady and firm as the immovable Rock of Gibraltar. They stuck together in an ostensibly happy marriage and even surpassed the proverbial seven year itch without as much as a shudder to their firm bonding. But now, rumours are abuzz that Arbaaz and Malaika are set to go separate ways, ten years after they took vows to be life partners.

Taboid reports allege that Arbaaz has already moved out of their joint apartment in Bandra. Malaika and son Arhaan are staying behind.

While the cause of the ‘split’ is still being speculated, grapevine says there is another woman in Arbaaz’s life.

The couple did not deny the ‘split’ rumours when a television news channel asked them to clear the air.

"It’s my private life and I would not like to discuss it in public," Arbaaz told the channel.

Malaika, too, did not reveal anything. "It is too personal and I would like to keep quiet on this issue," she said.

While the couple’s silence gives some credibility to the rumours, it is also being suggested that the rumours are deliberately created as a publicity gimmick for their upcoming film and an advertisement.

But it seems unlikely that any steady-going couple would put their reputation on the line for the sake of some publicity.

Whatever, the truth will be out in a few days.
