Versatile actor Irrfan Khan will be seen essaying a variety of roles in his upcoming films.
Irrfan is a sucker for variety. Recently seen playing an obsessive compulsive personality in the comedy Krazzy 4 , the actor is now gearing up to play a humble barber in Shah Rukh Khan’s home production Billoo Barber to be directed by Priyadarshan .
And Irrfan has also signed to play a bandit in a UTV project on the real life of soldier-turned-bandit Pan Singh Tomar.
Pan Singh was a soldier who also won a medal in the track and field event of Asian Games. However, when he returned to his village after retirement, he faced injustice and brutality that made him a baghi and eventually a dreaded bandit of the infamous Chambal valley.
The movie will be directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. The shooting is expected to begin from October this year.
But before all this, Irrfan will be seen in a light-hearted movie on modern relationships with Soha Ali Khan . The film, yet untitled, will probably hit the theatres in September or October this year.
