The Bengali beauty is set to play a leading role in the forever-young star Dev Anand’s next directorial venture.
The film, titled Charge Sheet , will have a socio-political theme. Thought the film’s casting is yet not complete, Dev Anand has confirmed the presence of Riya Sen and Jackie Shroff in the film.
Working with Riya would be a wonderful experience for the octogenarian star who has already worked with Riya’s grandmother Suchitra Sen and her mother Moon Moon Sen in the past.
Speaking to a Mumbai tabloid, Dev saab said his film requires a glamorous, good-looking female and Riya suits the role. The veteran actor also feels Riya’s acting talent has not yet been tapped.
However, at present Dev saab is super-excited because his evergreen film Guide has been chosen for screening in the Classics section of this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Dev saab himself will be flying to Cannes to attend the screening.
