Himesh Reshammiya is taking his acting assignments with utmost sincerity and dedication.
The singer-composer-turned-actor has been devotedly preparing himself for his roles. Even when he was shooting for Satish Kaushik’s Karzzzz , he asked the director to teach him Punjabi dialect for his role in Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekkh Mudh Mudh Ke .
Not just Punjabi, Himesh has been training his tongue on tapori lingo as well. He will play a street-smart tapori in John Mathew Mathan’s film A Love Issshtory and to prepare for his role Himesh has been mingling with locals in Mumbai’s Amboli village where the tapori dialect is dominantly spoken.
And if that’s not enough, for last three weeks Himesh has been training in fistfights with stunt men, every day for about two hours. This training is for Pooja Bhatt’s Kajra Re in which he will have a lot of hand-to-hand fighting scenes.
Ask Himesh about all these trainings and he has a simple, terse reply: “I want to do full justice to all my roles.”
Interestingly, all of Himesh’s upcoming films will have newcomers opposite him. ‘Karzzzz’ introduces Shweta Kumar , ‘A Love Isshtory’ has him pairing with Niharika Singh and ‘Mudh Mudh Ke Na Dekkh Mudh Mudh Ke’ has debutante Jennifer Kotwal .
