Kunal Kohli knows Saif well enough to guess when the actor is in sad mood. A few days back when the director met Saif he sensed that he was depressed over the poor run of his last release Tashan .
To cheer up Saif, Kohli held a special screening of his film ‘Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic’, starring Saif with Rani Mukherjee , at Yashraj studios. Saif’s girlfriend Kareena was also invited to the screening.
However, since the film is still in post-production stages, Kohli screened the unedited version without background music.
Despite this, both Saif and Bebo loved the movie.
Kohli has told a tabloid that watching the film cheered Saif up. Thereafter, he left for a holiday in London.
The director also held another screening for Rani Mukherjee who loved the film no less than Saif did.
‘Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic’ tells the story of four orphans who hate Saif. Rani plays an angel who wants to bring love into the kids’ lives, but the irony is that she can’t love.
Co-produced by Kohli himself, ‘TPTM’ is set for release on June 27.
