The konnection between Shahid Kapur and Vidya Balan

Something definitely seems to be brewing between Shahid Kapur and Vidya Balan who have become quite fond of each other.

In the days when Shahid split from Kareena Kapoor last year and the tabloids were splashed with pictures of Bebo and her new flame Saif Ali Khan , Shahid found comfort in the company of Vidya Balan with whom he was shooting Aziz Mirza’s movie Kismat Konnection in Toronto.

In an unexpected way, kismat had connected Shahid and Vidya during the course of the two-month long schedule of Mirza’s film away from the gossip and grapevine of Bollywood. And when Shahid finally came down to Mumbai after the shoot, he showed remarkable calm and equanimity to the questions and queries regarding his break-off.

Looking back one wonders if Shahid’s calm was a result of his proximity to Vidya at a time when he was going through personal crisis.

Whatever the case, the konnection between Shahid and Vidya has been grist for rumour mills ever since the two were first linked together. And now, Vidya has herself admitted in an interview that Shahid is a “very good friend”.

Well, we all know what that means.

Vidya says Shahid is “calm and intelligent” and she would love to do more films with him.

About a recent buzz on she going on a date with Shahid, Vidya admits she went to see the play ‘Dear Liar’ by Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah at Prithvi theatre “with a friend whose name begins with ‘S’”, but she is unwilling to reveal more.

Now it doesn’t take much imagination to guess who this Mr. ‘S’ is.

Couples who don’t admit being in love:

Though half of India knows about what’s going on between Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif , the couple has never openly admitted to dating each other. Similarly, Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja have remained tightlipped about their relationship. And it can be recalled that Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai never publicly admitted to being in love until they were engaged.
