'Sarkar Raj' is not about inter-personal relationships

The gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan says her forthcoming film Sarkar Raj with husband Abhishek Bachchan and father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan is just about characters, not inter-personal relationships.

'Sarkar Raj', that is scheduled to hit the theatres on June 6, is being eagerly awaited by all because it would be Ash and Abhishek’s first film together post marriage.

Talking about her chemistry with hubby Abhishek, Ash said, “Out of all my films, most have been with Abhishek, and the chemistry that we share on screen has nothing to do with our marriage. 'Sarkar Raj' is just about characters, not inter-personal relationships.”

In a press conference, Director Ram Gopal Varma clarified, “I never thought of them (Bachchans) as a family, on the sets of my film. All of them are talented professionals and the fact that they are a family is incidental.”

'Sarkar Raj' is also the first film in the history of Bollywood that will have its background score releasing separately.

Varma is quoted as saying in a report, "It was because of the tremendous popularity of the Govinda Govinda theme earlier in the prequel, Sarkar , which made us take this decision. Moreover, the decision is also the consequence of an inspiration from the Hollywood tradition of releasing the background scores separately."

Varma added, "The idea of releasing out the background score before the release of the film itself is that audience after watching the film can relate the theme music with the dialogues of the film since every track is titled after all the important dialogues in the film. And at the end of the day, background theme is there to enhance the scene of the film."

Revealing about his fondness for background score in the film, Varma said, "I have this special inclination towards background theme since childhood. I remember I would go to the cinema halls only to listen to background music with my eyes closed."

Titled ‘Power of Sound’, the album will be released shortly.
