Though her fans never seem to have enough of her, Bollywood producers think an overkill of Mallika Sherawat might be detrimental to the box-office.
It’s been quite some time since the undisputed sex bomb of Bollywood was last seen in a full-fledged role in a Hindi movie. The last we saw of her was a rather brief role in the comedy film Welcome .
But now, three films starring Mallika are set to hit the theatres in the coming months. The first one would be Kamal Haasan’s Tamil film Dasavatharam in which she plays an intelligence officer. After that Madame M would be seen in two comedies – Ugly Aur Pagli and Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam .
Both the films were initially slated to hit the theatres in July, but now the producers have decided to separate the two releases by at least a few weeks, if not months.
The first one to release would be ‘Ugly Aur Pagli’. Producer Ratan Jain has decided to postpone his film ‘Maan Gaye’ to August or may be even later because he doesn’t want a Mallika Sherawat overkill at the theatres.
Jain is apparently very confident of ‘Maan Gaye’ which has Mallika pairing up with Rahul Bose again after the success of Pyar Ke Side Effects .
‘Maan Gaye’ has Mallika playing a theatre actress who enacts the role of Anarkali in a play.
