HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Ranbir Kapoor to star opposite Konkona Sen Sharma 14th June 2008  23.00 IST By Agencies   It will be a pair that will take many surprise as Ranbir Kapoor is set to star opposite two-time National Award winning Konkona Sen Sharma in a film that will be directed by Kajol 's cousin. To be produced by Karan Johar 's Dharma Productions, the film is Ayaan Mukherjee's directorial debut. He has assisted Ashutosh Gowarikar in Swades and Karan Johar in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna . It is reported that minute Karan read the script he fell in love with it The film will be a Mumbai-based romance about urban relationships and the director needed a pair that seemed incompatible and hence he settled for an unlikely pair of Ranbir and Konkona. The film is about seeking a level of compatibility in a world gone distinctly out of control. Apparently, when Ranbir and Konkona heard the script, they liked it immediately.
