Neil Nitin Mukesh doesn’t want to hike the ‘long distances’ between his vanity van to shooting sets and therefore has bought a wheeled-machine to save himself the slog.
While stars like Salman Khan look for reasons to stretch their physical limits by doing things like cycling from home to shooting studios, here’s an actor who doesn’t want to strain his sinews.
Neil has bought a Segway, a two-wheeled machine often used to commute short distances by people who don’t prefer to walk. The user only need to hop on Segway, hold the steer and lean forward, backward, left or right to go in a particular direction.
Neil, who is young, energetic and one of the promising newcomers of last year, says he can save his effort and time by wheeling, rather than walking, from his vanity van to shooting studios. He has already learnt to use the machine and finds it “adventurous”.
IRONY
Quite ironically, on the other hand, Neil’s co-star of Freeze , Bipasha Basu , has been slogging away on treadmills a little more than needed. The actress has reportedly been working out so vigorously that she overstretched the muscles in her knees and had to take the help of a physiotherapist while shooting a song for Yashraj Film’s Bachna Ae Haseeno .
We think Neil should perhaps gift his Segway to Bipasha.
