The future of Harman Baweja ’s sci-fi futuristic love story looks bleak at the box-office. Almost every film critic has lambasted the movie – some even going to the extent of saying that sitting through the 3-hour long film is sheer torture. 
Harry Baweja , the director of the film, was quick to respond to the criticism about the movie’s length and swiftly chopped it by 10 minutes. But the filmmaker cannot understand the venomous comments by critics. “Love Story 2050 has got such severe criticism that none of my past films got. It seems there is a deliberate plan to sabotage my film,” Baweja senior is quoted as saying. Harry added that he could stomach failures as he has suffered them in the past as well. But what he cannot accept is “unfair attempts by some people to bring my film down”. However, Harry refuses to say who exactly are these people who are trying to sabotage his film. Not just Harry, even Harman is reportedly saying that critics have been too harsh on the film. Harman, who was touted as the most promising newcomer of the year, has been panned by critics for trying to imitate Hrithik Roshan . Harry Baweja says despite the severe criticism he has still managed to give his son a successful launch with ‘Love Story 2050’. On this count, Harry is right. For Harman got ample exposure even before the film’s release and signed a number of films, one of which is with Ashutosh Gowarikar and another a Sanjay Leela Bhansali production.
