Canadian beauty Mia Uyeda is the latest hottie to strut her stuff in Bollywood item numbers.
The item girl bandwagon keeps getting bigger and better. The newest girl to join the sizzlers’ club is Mia, a model and an MTV veejay who came to Mumbai from Canada last year and made the city her new home.
Mia has been roped in by director Anubhav Sinha for a steamy item in his production ‘Sankat City’, which, like most of Sinha’s previous films, is an action thriller revolving around a bunch of conmen after a huge amount of money.
In this tale of greed and deception, Mia will add the oomph quotient with her gyrations to a song choreographed by Adil Sheikh.
Mia has previously appeared in music videos, worked as a model, posed for Kingfisher Calendar, and has been a host on MTV. She is very comfortable in bringing out her sexuality before the camera.
Anubhav Sinha, who got hottie Bruna Abdullah to do an item in his super-dud Cash , says veejays have a natural sex appeal and therefore suit the item numbers more than regular actresses. He is game to have more veejays do item songs in his upcoming productions.
