Even though the actor may have distanced himself from promoting the film, Vivek plays a significant role in the movie and also has a special song with Russian girls. The song was not originally a part of the film but was added after Vivek impressed the film’s director Apoorva Lakhia and producer Sunil Shetty with his scintillating performance at IIFA.
Vivek took active interest in the look of the song. He himself auditioned a number of firangi girls and finalized half a dozen Russian hotties to gyrate with in the track titled ‘Apun Ke Saath Jo Ladega’.
The song is sung by Mika and choreographed by Rajiv Goswami.
According to a source, during the shooting of the song Vivek totally grooved in with the Russian chicks and helped them in getting the dance steps right.
‘Mission Istanbul’ has Vivek playing a Turkish commando. The movie, starring Zayed Khan as a journalist, also has item numbers by Abhishek Bachchan , veejay Pia Trivedi and Turkey's most famous belly dancer, Tanyeli.
The film tells a tale of an Indian journalist in Istanbul who gets to know some top-secret information about the clandestine working of a terror network. Vivek plays a Turkish who helps him fight the baddies. The movie also stars Shriya Saran .
