HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD 'Singh Is Kinng' to have a wide release in Europe 07th Aug 2008  19.55 IST By ApunKaChoice   Akshay Kumar -starrer Singh Is Kinng is releasing in Europe with a record number of prints. Akshay’s last big release in the UK was Welcome , which released with 51 prints and made a decent business of £912,000 in UK. Now, Studio 18 UK, the distributor of ‘Singh Is Kinng’ in Europe, is raising the bar in response to the actor’s rising popularity in that part of the world. According to reports, ‘Singh Is Kinng’ will release with a whopping 70 prints in UK and Ireland. In both the countries the film will have special preview screenings on Thursday night. In Ireland, the movie will release in Dublin and Belfast. In Europe, the film will have a wide release in countries such as The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and Luxembourg. There might be a delayed release in Poland as well. Back home in India, there is tremendous curiosity among movie buff’s regarding the film’s release. Advance booking of the shows has been going on at feverish pace. The USP of ‘Singh Is Kinng’ is the hit jodi of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif . The movie is directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah whose film Namastey London had done well in UK last year.
