Salman Khan rules out any reconciliation with Shahrukh Khan

Once a foe, always a foe. That has been the way with Salman Khan and shall remain so.

Finally, Salman has broken his silence about his spat with Shahrukh Khan . Salman, who recently asked his fans through his blog to ignore the negative media reports about him ‘just like one ignores a stray dog running after one’s car’, is now himself reaching out to the media to speak about his much written-about fight with SRK on Katrina Kaif ’s birthday.

In his media interviews, Salman acknowledges that “there was a fight” with SRK. But he denies that the spat was because of any professional reasons – some of which as cited by media are: a) Salman’s ‘Dus Ka Dum’ doing better than SRK’s ‘Paanchvi Pass’; b) SRK’s refusal to make a guest appearance in Salman’s film Main Aur Mrs Khanna .

“The reason (for the fight) was personal,” says Salman without revealing much.

However, Salman shows remarkable frankness in admitting that he and SRK “are not friends anymore”.

“We've had problems before also but this time I don't think we can sort them out. We are two different people. Our values and way of thinking are different. I don't think we can be friends,” Salman is quoted in an interview by Indian Express.

In another report, Salman says he sees his equation with SRK in the same light as he sees it with Vivek Oberoi , whom Salman has not forgiven despite a public apology from the latter.

From Salman’s tone it appears he is in no mood to reconcile with SRK for at least a few years to come, if not forever. The two have fought before also but reconciled after not talking to each other for over a year. But this time, as Salman says, they can’t sort it out.

Salman is presently promoting his film God Tussi Great Ho which releases on the coming Friday. The movie stars Priyanka Chopra opposite him.
