John Abraham ready to go Full Monty

In his upcoming film Dostana , dashing hunk John Abraham stops just a wee bit short of dropping all his clothes.

What happens when Bollywood’s pin-up boy bares his hot bod and brawns? He leaves not just girls but boys as well swooning and ogling at his finely sculpted figure. Yup, John’s dare bare act in a tiny yellow trunks in ‘Dostana’ has made him an icon among the gay community.

Though the movie’s promotional stills show the almost naked John pulling down the only piece of garment – the yellow trunks – without revealing anything than might anger the Censor board, the actor says he is willing to go further and even pose nude if his role requires him to do so.

And why not? Having come from the modeling background, John says he is extremely comfortable with his body, be it clothed or otherwise.

But doing the skin-show in ‘Dostana’ did require John to do ample preparation. To develop the perfect figure, John worked arduously under the fitness expert Mike Ryan who was called from LA to Miami especially to guide John in getting that sculpted look.

The results are for all to see. To say that John is looking hot would be an understatement. John himself is happy with people’s reaction towards his body.

‘Dostana’ is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and is made under Dharma Productions banner. According to sources, it was Karan Johar who insisted John to do this bare act. Karan is not only the producer but also the designer for the flick.

The eye-candy promos of the film are set against the sun-kissed beaches of Miami, where the trio of Abhishek Bachchan , Priyanka Chopra (dressed skimpily) and John are shown lost in fun and frolic. The movie is set to release on November 14.
