Praises from film fraternity have been coming the way of A R Rahman after he won the Golden Globe for his score in Slumdog Millionaire .Irrfan Khan , Madhur Bhandarkar , Kabir Bedi , Saurabh Shukla , percussionist Shivamani and many others from the film industry have been lavishing praises on Rahman for having done India proud. Now, Aamir Khan is raving about the music wizard who has done the score for his home productions like Lagaan and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na . 
"It is great to see excellence recognised. Rahman is an Indian talent to be proud of. I have heard a lot about 'Slumdog Millionaire' which has my friend Anil Kapoor as part of the cast. I am looking forward to see the film," Aamir told reporters on Monday. The actor is presently busy shooting Rajkumar Hirani's film 3 Idiots on the campus of IIM Bangalore. Aamir is reportedly also in consideration for a project by Yashraj Films opposite his Dil Chahta Hai co-star Preity Zinta . The film's script is reportedly written by Yash Chopra , who will also direct the movie. It's a love story where female protagonist is a strong woman, like Yash Chopra's previous films - 'Chandni' and 'Lamhe'. According to the sources, Chopra was highly impressed by Aamir and Preity's pair and the magic they wove on-screen in 'Dil Chahta Hai'. Yash Chopra plans to start shooting for this film in July and finish it in one schedule. The film is expected to hit the theatres this year only and probability in December. While Preity is learnt to have given her nod, Aamir is yet to take a call. |
