Abhishek Bachchan is in desperate need of a hit movie and a clash with Shahrukh Khan at the box office is the last thing he wants.The bad memory of the debacle of Drona has not receded yet. And the buzz is that Abhishek's next release as a solo hero - Rakesh Omprakash Mehra's Dilli 6 - is scheduled for release on the Valentines Day next year. Incidentally, that's the time when Shahrukh Khan's home production Billoo Barber will also hit the theatres. 
It goes without saying that SRK will hog the marquee and might even end up killing any competition at the box-office, just the way he did when his Om Shanti Om released with Saawariya last year. This clash has apparently got Abhishek jittery. 'Dilli 6' is a project close to his heart and he wants as many people as possible to see the flick. However, the problem is that the film's production house UTV cannot postpone the release because the exam period in March attracts least viewers to the theatres. So if things go as planned, Abhishek will feel the heat from his senior, SRK, on February 13 when both 'Dilli 6' and 'Billoo Barber' clash. As for now, Abhishek is shooting Mani Ratnam's film in Kerala and will soon return to Mumbai to promote his next release Dostana which is a multistarrer with John Abraham , Priyanka Chopra and Bobby Deol . |
