Abhishek Bachchan sweats it out in jungle

If Ratnam allowed Abhi to pamper his taste buds and put on weight while shooting Guru , the director is doing exactly the opposite on the sets of 'Ravana' which stars Abhi, Aishwarya Rai and Govinda .

Till recently, the movie was being shot in dense jungles in Kerala. Abhishek's character in the film is such that he is being made to do arduous things like climbing the rocks or wading through murky waters or clambering up the trees etc.


And Mani has reportedly been unforgiving on Abhishek, making the actor slog it out to give even simple shots.

For instance, a few weeks back Mani shot a scene for which Abhishek was made to stand in water for hours. The actor was donning nothing more than a loincloth and had to brave the jungle insects that kept bugging him throughout the shoot.

However, according to a source, Abhishek hasn't complained to Mani even once.

Well, considering what Ratnam has done to Abhi's career with Yuva and 'Guru', the actor would go to any lengths to please the director.

Thankfully for Abhishek, there is a break in the shooting of 'Ravana' nowadays. But it won't be long before he would return to wilderness again.
