Aishwarya Rai promotes education for girls

It is believed that Aishwarya was nurturing this thought for a long time. She wanted to take some concrete step about this matter. The girls who come from backward areas of the country never get a chance to empower themselves with education.

She put her thoughts into practice by joining hands with an international cosmetic brand which she endorses. According to a source, she commenced a campaign 'Beautiful Beginnings' when the brand was celebrating its 100th anniversary recently. Aishwarya was there as the guest of honour.


The programme 'Beautiful Beginnings' will enable young girls to take up studies and to stand on their own feet. As reported by a tabloid, the actress thinks that financial independence is crucial for women empowerment and that in a way will enhance their confidence.

The ex Miss World and Bollywood's powerful female will also plan out further developments related to the programme and will oversee its implementation, as sources claim.
