Akshay and Kareena's Cannes trip cancelled

But how come a strike at home affects the visit of the stars for the showcasing of Kambakkht Ishq at Cannes Film Festival? Well, according to Nadiadwala, because of the strike he can’t run the trailers of ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ at Cannes nor release its music back home. In fact, the strike, according to the producer, even prevents him from releasing the film’s trailers on television.

Nadiadwala says he’s disappointed that he can’t go to Cannes. It would have been his first visit to the festival and he had planned to walk the red carpet with Akshay, Kareena and Hollywood stars Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards and Brandon Routh, who play cameo roles in the film.


But the enterprising producer doesn’t mind canceling the trip to show his solidarity with Bollywood producers.
